UNCEDED: Voices of the Land is the world’s first Indigenous-led contemporary architecture exhibit and will be open at Edmonton City Centre till June 21

Curated by celebrated architect and Elder Douglas Cardinal, the exhibit showcases the work of 18 Indigenous architects from across Turtle Island. Originally created for the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale, UNCEDED explores themes of Indigeneity, resilience, sovereignty and colonization through immersive audiovisual installations.

A 3,000-square-foot interactive maze is a key highlight, inviting visitors to engage with Indigenous stories and spatial design.

Open daily with special group and school rates, the exhibit also features a weekend pop-up market by the I.A.M. Collective. Tickets range from $13 to $28.
