A new agreement will give members of the Métis Nation of Alberta (MNA) free access to national parks and national historic sites in the province.

On Tuesday, MNA president Audrey Poitras signed an agreement with Parks Canada officials to offer the Indigenous Peoples Open Doors program to her nation’s citizens. The official start date is Wednesday with no expiry date.
