CALGARY _ An Alberta First Nation police service has issued a “water supply alert” for some of its residents.

A water main break on the Tsuu T’ina Nation, which is adjacent to Calgary’s southwest boundary, has caused a disruption to potable water service to all homes southeast of Bullhead Road.

Officials are urging residents to not consume anything from the tap and drink only bottled water.

The reserve is putting a water truck at the North Sarcee townsite playground for affected residents to fill their containers.

Affected homeowners can also fill their containers at the Fire Hall.

It’s unclear how long this disruption could last.
