First Nations of Treaties 1-11
Attn: Chief and Council

Dear Leaders:

On behalf of Cold Lake First Nations, I am writing to invite you to attend and participate in the next Treaties 1-11 Gathering on January 20-21st, 2016, at the Marriott River Cree Hotel and Conference Centre at Enoch Cree Nation, Edmonton, Alberta.

We, as Indigenous Nations, must come together to exercise our sovereignty and jurisdiction over our lands, water, resources and ancestral territories. The theme we have chosen for this Gathering is, “As Long as the Sun Shines, the Grass Grows and the Rivers Flow: A Livelihood for a Livelihood.”

For the Draft Agenda and updates, please check our website at www.clfns.com. To book your hotel rooms, you can call the hotel reservations directly at 1-800-960-4913 and ask for the Treaties 1-11 Gathering room rate.
Our Coordinator for this event is Joanne Martial. She can be reached at ioanne.martial@clfns.com or 780-594-7183, ext. 253 during regular business hours.

We welcome all Chiefs, leadership, technicians and members of our Treaty Nations from 1-11 to join us in adding to the dialogue and implementation of our strategy moving forward into 2016!

Sincerely,

Chief Bernice Martial
