The Métis Nation of Alberta and Fort Edmonton Park formalize relationship with historic Memorandum of Understanding
In the mutual interest of creating and delivering authentic and historically accurate cultural programming, the Métis Nation of Alberta and the Fort Edmonton Management Company are working to forge a new relationship.

The Memorandum of Understanding will be signed by Métis Nation of Alberta President, Audrey Poitras and Fort Edmonton Management Company Board Chair, Doug Goss. Additionally, Mayor Don Iveson will be in attendance to witness the Memorandum of Understanding. The document will formalize the parties’ commitment to work together to accurately present Métis stories at Fort Edmonton Park; the MOU reflects a collaborative approach to the portrayal of Métis history at Fort Edmonton Park.
