Strathcona County RCMP is asking for help in locating a young teen who has been missing for almost two weeks.

On Wednesday, May 20 at approximately 8:55 a.m., the local RCMP detachment received a report that 14-year-old Joanna Ludke had not been seen since Monday, May 18, when the teen was dropped off by her parents for a program she was attending in Edmonton. However, on Thursday, May 28, a report released by the RCMP stated that Ludke had been seen in Edmonton on the evening of Sunday, May 24.

“(There’s) no indication there was any arguments or anything prior to her being dropped off. Whatever happened after that we’re unsure of at this point, and we’re unsure of her whereabouts still,” said Const. Chantelle Kelly, media liaison with Strathcona County RCMP.

“We have people investigating. We have people that are designated at our detachment that are being assigned to this file that are attempting to locate her.”
