RCMP Red Deer Seek Public’s Assistance in Apprehending Wanted Woman
Maskwacis, Alberta (November 3, 2015) – On August 8, 2013 an 18-year-old woman was arguing with another woman when she was fatally stabbed in a residence in the Samson Townsite in Maskwacis. The resulting police investigation uncovered evidence sufficient to arrest Charmaine Cherelli Louis-Crier in relation to the woman’s death and charge her with Second Degree Murder.
Louis-Crier had been released on a recognizance with one of the conditions being that she attends court for the preliminary hearing concerning her Second Degree Murder charge. She failed to attend court and a warrant for her arrest has been issued.
RCMP Red Deer Major Crimes Unit is seeking the assistance of the public in locating Louis-Crier. She is described as follows:
- Female, First Nations
- 36 years of age
- Height: 5’7” (170 cm)
- Weight: 161 lbs. (73 kg)
- Brown hair but is known to dye it blonde
- Brown eyes
Her last known location was in the Londonderry Mall area (north Edmonton) however she has strong connections to Maskwacis.
