Police seek help to find missing woman – AB Daily Herald

Grande Prairie RCMP are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 41-year-old aboriginal woman.
Corrine Janet Mitchell was reported missing from a Grande Prairie group home on Tuesday. Staff told police she left the home on Monday evening and had failed to return. There was a report that Mitchell was seen around the Friendship Centre around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Mitchell has a cognitive delay which could make her a vulnerable person. Staff told police that she has left the home in past but has always returned. Mitchell has also made her way to the Sturgeon Lake First Nations on occasion.
Mitchell is described as aboriginal, 130 lbs with short, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple coat, black shirt and black leggings.
