On Wednesday, the leaders of five national Aboriginal organizations sat down with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and a couple of his ministers to talk about reconciliation.
Clément Chartier, president of the Métis National Council, Natan Obed, president of the Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami, Dawn Harvard, president of the Native Women’s Association of Canada and Dwight Dorey, National Chief of the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples sit down with N2N host Nigel Newlove to talk about the meeting and what comes next.
And fresh from the climate change talks in Paris, Environment and Climate Change minister Catherine McKenna talks with Nigel about the role Indigenous peoples will play in setting up Canada’s emissions targets.
