Mistatim is Alberta-Bound

Hot on the hooves of an 8-state USA Tour and 5-Province in Canada, and reaching over 58,500 audience members, Mistatim is Alberta-bound. We will be coming to an Albertan venue near you during the week of February 29 – March 5, 2016! We will be in Bonneville, Edmonton, and Exshaw and we’re looking for a few more stops along the way during the week of February 29 – March 5, 2016.

What is Mistatim about you ask? Mistatim is about the taming of a wild horse and the forging of the truest of friendships. It’s a story of reconciliation for children and their families – an intercultural story that combines dance, theatre, mask, storytelling and music into one unforgettable experience.

Under a prairie sky, a simple wooden fence is all that separates Calvin on his ranch and Speck on her reservation, but in many ways they are worlds apart. Working together to rein in a wild horse call Mistatim, both Calvin and Speck must cross the divide of their own cultures to learn to communicate with each other, Mistatim, and their families.
