The event brings people together to celebrate Métis culture and create a better understanding of the people’s history.
An annual cultural celebration is set to make its grand return after a two-year hiatus.
On Friday, May 27, McMurray Métis, an organization founded to represent and support the Métis people in Northeastern Alberta, will once again host Métis Fest.
The event celebrates the history of Métis people and shares many integral aspects of the culture with the public.
