Log on and share your Budget 2016 priorities and ideas
Feb 04, 2016
The Alberta government is providing another opportunity for public input as it prepares Budget 2016.
Government wants to hear Albertans’ thoughts, priorities and ideas as it responds to the province’s evolving fiscal situation.
“Our government is concerned with the effect of low oil prices on hard-working Albertans and families. We want to give Albertans another opportunity to tell us what their ideas and priorities are.”
Joe Ceci, Minister of Finance
During the government’s previous consultations in Fall 2015, more than 3,000 individual online submissions were received in addition to 420 faxes, letters and emails. The submissions were considered as part of the Budget 2015 and Budget 2016 process.
The online submission page will be available until March 4.
“We are responding to our fiscal challenges by promoting job creation and diversification while stimulating the economy. This is a conversation we want to continue with Albertans as we plan Budget 2016.”
Joe Ceci, Minister of Finance
