Alberta’s new Minister of Justice, Solicitor General, and Minister of Aboriginal Relations graduated at the top of her class in law school and has several degrees.
Calgarian Kathleen Ganley was a good bet to win a cabinet post, according to Wayne Benedict, who taught Ganley and later worked with her at the law firm of McGown Johnson.
“She is very intelligent and thoughtful,” said Benedict.
Ganley, 36, graduated from the University of Calgary’s faculty of law in 2012.
