Hosting a campaign stop no guarantee of ‘yes’ responses
Being on the schedule as a campaign stop can get you face time with a party leader, but it is no guarantee of being granted any and all requests.
The response is often some form of “we’ll see what we can do,” as has been heard along the way in Election 2015.
In Lewisporte
Walter Dawe and Hector Pearce of the concerned citizens group landed a brief, private meeting with Dwight Ball on the Liberal campaign schedule.
The men asked Ball for 24/7 “call back” for X-Ray services, already available in the town during regular business hours.
