Sarah was raised in Ndilo, a small community outside of Yellowknife, NT. She is a member of the Yellowknives Dene and part Hupacasath from the Nuu-Cha-Nulth First Nation on Vancouver Island. She graduated high school in Yellowknife and continued education at the Vancouver Film School, Alberta College of Art and Design, and finally graduated from the Digital Graphic Communications program at SAIT. Returning home after completing post secondary school, she started her dream of designing and printing her own line of t-shirts.
