Education Minister Don Morgan was at Wesmor Public High School in Prince Albert on Wednesday to get a first-hand look at the school’s “Following their Voices” program.

Morgan toured classrooms, talking with students and teachers about the program, and afterwards met with the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Board.

After the tour, Morgan said he was pleased with how the program was working.

“We’re excited by this and we’re hopeful that it will go a long ways to helping us deliver the goals we want.”

The program is geared towards First Nation and Metis students, with the goal of developing positive student-teacher relationships while improving overall attendance and participation.
