EDMONTON – It’s potatoes versus refineries — a shortcut for wide loads on their way to Fort McMurray versus one of the last remaining old growth forests in Edmonton.
A development plan for the second neighbourhood in Horse Hill is going before city council Monday.
Landowners worry than if it passes unchanged, one more option for moving a proposed heavy haul bridge connection to Highway 63 south of Fort Saskatchewan will have disappeared.
They’re getting boxed in.
