Albertans are invited to community engagement sessions on royalties

Royalty review community engagement sessions are taking place in Calgary and Edmonton next week. The royalty review advisory panel is inviting Albertans to contribute their input on the future of Alberta’s royalty framework for non-renewable resources.
Panel members and technical experts from the Department of Energy will be on hand to talk to Albertans about the royalty framework, gather feedback and answer questions.
The locations and dates for the community sessions are as follows:
Calgary
Monday, October 5
5:30-8 p.m.
Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, Rooms 104-106
120-9th Ave.
Edmonton
Tuesday, October 6
5:30-8 p.m.
MacEwan University
Robbins Health Learning Centre, Heart Room
10910-104 Ave.
Albertans unable to attend these sessions can submit their ideas and comments online, and learn more about royalties in Alberta, at . The first community engagement sessions were held in Grande Prairie and Fort McMurray in mid-September.
