Aboriginal Alert shares Awareness of Missing Aboriginal People at Indigenous Experience – 89.3 The Raven

The Indigenous Experience inside the Edmonton Expo Centre in Hall E hosted various booths throughout K-Days, with one of the tables featuring the Aboriginal Alert.

Dan Martel, founder of the Aboriginal Alert says it’s been amazing to see many people signing up for the Alert, and adds that people will make the alarm work by bringing awareness to missing Aboriginal people.

Martel speaks on the origins of how the Aboriginal Alert system started, with the website that shows over 300 Aboriginal people across Canada that are missing, with the number continuing to grow.
