Work location: 10008 – 6 Avenue SW, Edmonton, AB T6X 0S8; various locations in Edmonton, AB and surrounding areas

Vacancies: 3 Vacancies

Salary: $25.60 – $26.00 / Hour for 35 – 60 Hours / Week

Employment conditions: early morning, morning, day, evening, shift, weekend

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Benefits: Subject to wage increase, bonus and incentives; Scaled Medical benefits and Dental benefits after 1 year of employment

Start date: As soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping including supervisory experience or a combination of experience and industry related training and certification.

Ability to Supervise: 1-2 people; 3-4 people; 5-10 people; 11-15 people; contractors; staff in various areas of responsibility

Personal Suitability: Team player, initiative, judgement.

Specific Skills: Organize and direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns; Organize and direct construction of fences, decks and walls; Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work; Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies; Resolve work related problems; Establish work schedules and procedures

Additional Skills: Plan and estimate labour and materials; Maintain work records and logs; May perform the same duties as workers supervised.

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Pick-up truck; skid-steer bobcat

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Tight deadlines; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling
