Title of position: Industrial Butcher Apprentice

Job duties:
– Slaughter livestock and prepare carcasses for processing
– Cut beef, lamb, and pork into appropriate cuts for further processing and packaging
– Remove bones and inedible portions from meat
– Make specific cuts according to processing requirements for the day
– Keep work area clean and sanitary, according to company standard
– Use a variety of electronic and hand tools to perform required duties

Terms of employment: Full-time or part-time; permanent; mornings, days, and occasionally weekend shifts; full-time hours will be approximately 40 hours per week, whereas part-time hours may vary

Wage: $21.00/hour
