Diamond Hotel Management is looking for Front Desk Agent to join our team here at The Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel

We offer:

  • Wage: $18.50 per hour
  • Vacancies: 5
  • Hours per week: 40 hours per week

Terms of employment:

  • Permanent, Full time
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning, Morning

Core Responsibilities:

  • Greeting guests upon their arrival and providing a hospitable welcome
  • Checking in guests upon arrival and directing them to their designated rooms
  • Processing guests payments and presenting them with the bill upon checking out
  • Receiving calls, conducting room reservations, and verifying existing bookings
  • Excellent customer service skills, phone etiquette and listening abilities
  • Keeping the front desk neat, orderly, and sanitized at all times
  • Effective organization and time-management skills to prioritize and complete tasks on time
  • Posting charges to appropriate guest accounts
  • Anticipating and addressing guests’ needs, and resolving their problems and complaints.
  • Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Complying with company procedures and safety policies.
  • Performing duties on a daily checklist
  • Assisting guests in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary
  • Working collaboratively with other staff, managers, and resources

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Ability to speak English;
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Open availability including weekends and holidays;
