Salary: $18.50 – $20.00 / Hour for 36-44 Hours / Week

  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people; food service counter attendants and food preparers; kitchen and food service helpers
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, team player, client focus, dependability

Tasks: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food; Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation; Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards; Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; Prepare food order summaries; Prepare and submit reports; Supervise and check assembly of trays; Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres; Supervise and check delivery of food orders; Establish work schedules; Establish methods to meet work schedules; Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures; Address customers’ complaints or concerns; May perform same duties as those supervised.
