Employer: Ben & Donna Walter Farms Ltd.
Work Location: Various locations in Southwestern Alberta including Blood Tribe Indian Reservation; various locations in the USA (Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Idaho, Montana) from the first week of June until August. Salary: $22.00 – $25.00 / Hour for 40 to 60 Hours / Week; Varies seasonally

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence, Vehicle supplied by employer, Willing to travel cross-border to the USA.
Safety and Security: Valid passport

Farm Supervisors Specific Skills: Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers; Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations; Maintain quality control and production records; Develop work schedules and establish procedures; Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
Agricultural Service Contractors Specific Skills: Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting; Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
Additional Skills: Maintain work records and logs; Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment; Perform general farm duties; Train staff; May hire staff
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Tractor, Sprayer or duster, Seed drill, Fertilizer applicator, Harvesters
Type of Farm Operations: Grain, oil and forage crop
