Job Details:

• Wage: $22.00/hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week

• Work Setting: General Store/ Butcher shop
• Employment Conditions: Early morning, morning, day, weekend
• Location: 103 10th St, Hines Creek, AB, T0H 2A0 (Hines Creek General Store)

Specific Skills/Duties:

• Clean and prepare meat before it is processed or cut
• Break down whole carcasses, sides, and quarters
• Create custom meat cuts based on customer requests
• Cut, trim, and prepare regular meat portions
• Debone various types of meat
• Weigh meat items for retail sale
• Cut poultry into individual pieces
• Label meat products with prices
• Cut fish into fillets and steaks
• Produce specialty sausages
• Slice cooked or prepared meats
• Arrange meat, poultry, and seafood displays for presentation
• Form, tie, and secure roasts and other meat, poultry, or seafood items

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate in English
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 to less than 2 years of related experience
• Accurate, organized, and client-focused
