SKILLS/DUTIES

Specific Skills: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, Empty trash cans and other waste containers, Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings, Perform minor repairs on appliances, Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies, Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens, Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, Work with minimal supervision, Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

Work setting: Office building

Security and safety: Criminal record check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence

Personal Suitability: Dependability, Initiative, Reliability, Organized

Equipment Operated/Used: Power tools, Power lawn mowers, Snowblower

Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
