Investing in Calgary and area infrastructure
Government’s 2019 Capital Plan is investing $24.2 billion over four years to enhance public infrastructure, including in Calgary and neighbouring communities.
Planning, design, or construction is underway on many dozens of Calgary and area infrastructure projects, including health facilities, schools, seniors housing, roadways, and flood-mitigation or recovery work.
“It’s critical we continue to invest in building, renewing and maintaining the province’s public infrastructure. Our investment helps create jobs and boosts the economy, ensuring all Albertans, like those living here in Calgary and surrounding communities, benefit long into the future.”
Prasad Panda, Minister of Infrastructure
