AUMA: July 4 deadline for funding to support urban Indigenous peoples

Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada is currently seeking grant applications through its Urban Programming for Indigenous Peoples program. Municipalities can apply for funding under the Programs and Services stream for projects that will support urban Indigenous peoples. Projects can be up to five years in length and must focus on women, vulnerable populations, youth, transition services, outreach programs or community wellness.
To be eligible, municipalities must have demonstrated support from Indigenous organizations or Indigenous community groups. The deadline to apply is July 4, 2017. More information is available on the Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada website.
