artsPlace launching fall programs – Rocky Mountain Outlook

As fall approaches, kids’ return to school is planned and people are looking for something different by way of interest in the arts goes, Canmore’s artsPlace is offering a new slate of fall programs.

Now approaching two years in operation, artsPlace will offer a range of programs from fiction writing to jewelry making, drumming to sewing, ceramics and pretty much everything in between.

In picking and choosing programs to offer, said Jeremy Elbourne, executive director, artsPlace staff poll program participants to discover how much they enjoyed a particular offering, and what else the would find interesting.

“Right now, we’re kind of reactive,” he said. “We try to offer a range of programs, but a lot of people also to come to us and tell us what they’d be interested in.
