Join us for Nechi Institute’s 45th Anniversary Conference Celebrations in Edmonton, Alberta!

We are proud to bring to you world renowned KEYNOTE SPEAKERS: Douglas Cardinal Architect, Georgina Lightning Filmmaker and Edmund Metatawabin Author, along with Alberta’s Finest leaders Treaty 6 Grand Chief, Wilton P. Littlechild and Frog Lake First Nation Chief Greg Desjarlais.

These great leaders in our community and beyond will share their stories, provide insight and touch our souls to better our resources. This year’s conference celebrations is geared for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people who are interested or work in training, research and health promotions in Indigenous communities.

Opening Ceremonies/Grand Entry, Tuesday, October 15th as part of our rich history, culture and heritage. it is only fitting to invite the general public as we host a feast and Round Dance to kick off our 45 years of resilience!

Wednesday’s Kickin Rockin Fiddle Dance is sure to be a hit with a Jigging Contest, Spot Dances, Prizes and FUN, FUN, FUN!!!
