We are now accepting applications for the following positions with the Blood Tribe Youth Ranch

Child Care Worker: Blood Tribe Youth Ranch
Four (4) Positions (Day) Term: F/T Contract
Competition: #041219CCWD-BTYR

Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Team Leader of the Blood Tribe Youth Ranch, you will work with a team in the delivery of treatment based, residential programs. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, these positions provide direct services to assigned children within a residential treatment environment. The Child Care Worker participates in the development and evaluation of individual treatment plans, monitors, records behavior, oversees and arranges for daily activities.

Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in a Human Services or are fully certified within their field of practice. Equivalencies: Two (2) years related experience or are actively enrolled in a related educational program.

  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Confidentiality is a necessity
  • Working knowledge of the Blackfoot Language is essential
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Must be willing to do shift work (Evenings and Weekends)
  • Working knowledge Licensing and Accreditation processes and standards
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to speak Blackfoot an asset

All positions must be willing to work in a team environment; Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation; Undergo a Criminal Record Check and an Intervention Services Information System (ISIS). Confidentiality is a necessity.
